Summer is fast approaching (OK wishful thinking, but it feels like Spring has finally arrived and I am feeling positive!) and I must admit I’m looking forward to the new Disney Pixar movie Inside Out (in theaters June 19,2015)! As a mother of teenage girl I’m hoping to use this movie as a cheap form of family counseling on how to better understand each other ๐Ÿ˜‰ In all honesty I’m blessed with incredible daughters who are great communicators, still we all have days where you just wonder what is going on in someone’s head. Inside Out is going to give us a look at how some process all those feelings during major life changes by putting a personality with each individual emotion.

Movie Bio:
Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions โ€“ Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Rileyโ€™s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

I’m for one looking forward to taking the night off with my family and having a good laugh at our mood swing moments! I have a feeling Joy may be my favorite but Fear is going to be all to familiar to me ๐Ÿ˜‰
Did you see a feeling you could relate to? Come on friends tell me who you find oddly familiar?
